Nails of the week: Daddy's Girl

This is a beautiful glittery nail polish by one of my favorite nail polish brands, Sinful Colors. Sinful Colors is available at walgreens and costs $1.99 but most of the times they are having some kind of sale and you can get it for only $0.99.This is a dark plum purple. In the bottle this nail polish looks as it if has, green, silver and pink glitters.
I applied it with a hot pink nail polish underneath to bring out the pinky undertones and also to make it easier to remove later. I really think it is gorgeous especially and applies really easily with only one coat. If you like the pictures be sure to check it out at your local walgreens or order it online.

August Favorites!

Hello,
It seems like every post I am giving excuses but I just wanted to let you all know of what products I have been enjoying during this month. It includes makeup, hair and TV shows. I may seem a little sad in the video but it's just that I have been dealing with a lot of difficult things in my life lately and I am trying to act as if nothing is happening.

New Channel + Getting Ready Video

As you all may know already, I had a beauty channel on YouTube that was http://youtube.com/user/beautybeginner but I have been getting a lot of negative messages on that channel since that channel use to be someone else's and they are blaming me of being a hacker or whatever. Although, I am not one to usually let things like that phase me, I decided to open up a new channel as soon as I got a chance. So as of today I am uploading all my beauty videos, tags, hauls and reviews to a new channel. That channel is http://youtube.com/user/makeupandlife Please subscribe to this channel as all the videos will now be in 720p quality and much better. I promise to keep this channel fun. I started buying items today for a giveaway I will be holding just to encourage all of my subscribers to make the switch and also welcome any new subscribers. Okay so the first video I am uploading to my channel will be a getting ready video. I am going to do an introduction video next but I just needed to learn how I was going to edit and deal with such big file sizes. So I recorded this video spur of the moment and I think it came out pretty good. Dealing with high quality video is harder than I thought and my old video editor couldn't handle it. So here is my getting ready for the first day of school video. The funny thing is that on the day of this video, Hurricane Earl stopped by and school was canceled so now I don't have school until September 3rd.

Day Thirteen: Silvery Sparkle

Silvery Sparkles, ooo!
This is strange for me but I usually don't wear silvers on my eyes because I really believe gold flatters me much much more. I was really bored during the day and I decided to play around with makeup. I ended up going to visit my mom in the hospital and that's why my eyes look so tired but I think it is a great look just a little too much for daytime.
Here I used my Coastal Scents 88 Color Palette, Warm with the silver colors on the second row. I used the third silver in my inner corner and fifth silver on my outer half of the lid. Then I used the matte black to blend it all out. I used my Wet n Wild Creme Eyeliner in Black also. For mascara, I applied Covergirl LashBlast Volume in Very Black. And of course on my lips is Avon Glazewear Shine in Darling Pink.

Operation Beautiful

I am here to make a post about a website called Operation Beautiful.
I read about this on facebook and I think it is an amazing idea. The mission of operation beautiful is to make random people's day by posting positive messages in public places.

I believe it might have been my handy dandy Covergirl Exact Eyelighrs Quad in 715 Majestic Hazels but don't quote me on that. I know that on my lips I have my age old favorite Avon Glazewear Shine in Darling Pink.

Nails of the week: Pink Vacation

Hey Beautiful People,

Thanks for joining me in my blog today I hope you like what you see and you follow it.

So I am starting a new series today with my nails of the week. I am not the type of person to change up my nail color everyday so I am just going to do posts every week or so with what nails I am sporting that day. 

This week I am doing all pink nails. I decided to spice up my favorite nail polish with a brighter one on my ring finger.

On my fiingernails I am wearing Sinful Colors Vacation Time Nail Polish with Rimel Lasting Finish Lycra Wear Nail Polish #289 on my ring finger. I think it came out very cute and girly.

Day Eleven: Tired Eyes

Again we have a pretty boring look, I was just going to school to apply for a job (which I got [: ) I just have Neutrogena Mineral Sheers in Clay on my lid and in the crease. I also just applied my EOS lipbalm all over my lips. I know I don't look my best it's just that I had to wake up at 5 AM to go to school and obviously at that hour I am not my best.

Day Ten: Naturally Neutral

 This look is from a few days ago I haven't really had any time to upload and/or update my blog. Sorry I have been slacking it's just that my life has turned into crap lately and I have zero motivation to get up in the morning much less pack on the makeup. I promise I will get back up on that horse soon enough and will be doing tutorials and such once I receive my new camera. I hope you all enjoy this look as a basic everyday look.

Outrageous Thursday

Obviously as you can see from these pictures and the title, this is definetly not something I would wear out. I was just bored again and decided to play with my 88 warm palette. This was the look I came up with. I actually liked it but my fiancee said I looked like I was squinting. Haha!

Wednesday Night Boredom

Wednesday Night I was really bored when I realized that my birthday is only about three weeks away. I know that I would like to curl my hair for my birthday and really need to practice before I try doing that. I have been wanting to get the hang of curling my hair for the longest time because mine doesn't seem to hold the curl at all. After trying numerous methods from tutorials on YouTube, I decided that rollers and flat irons weren't the way to go.
I pulled out my 1 3/4" curling and got started. I think it came out really pretty, what do you guys think?
Although, I really enjoyed the curl it only lasted about an hour and a half before dropping down into a horrible mess.

Day Nine: Ripe Peach

Day Eight: Who Knows

Hey!

Yesterday was day eight of my makeup of the day series so here is the finished look:



Hehe, as you can tell by my ridiculous face day eight is not one I am proud of. I don't know exactly what colors I used. I believe they were all from the Coastal Scents 88 palette but I am not quite sure which. The top lid has a beige type color and the crease has a brownish color. Under my eyes I applied a purple eyeliner and set it with a purple eyeshadow.

This post is dedicated to all those people who got 3 hours of sleep and schlepped on a bit o' makeup to look decent.
