Day Six: Purple Smoked Out

Hello beautybeginners,
Yes I know I've been really bad. I decided to make a change on my original post on this series. Instead of posting my makeup looks every day I've decided to do posts only on the days I wear makeup. I think I haven't posted in like 5 days and that's just because I didn't wear any makeup. It's useless to do a makeup post without any makeup, right?

As you can probably tell by my skin, I went to the beach and got really sunburned. I did put sunscreen but forgot to reapply. :-(.
------------------------
This is the completed Eye and Face Look. This was a few hours later after straightening my hair so the lip color completely wore off but you get the gist, right?

------
Products Used:
1) First I patted Mysterious and Socialite, left, all over my lid using my ELF eyeshadow brush concentrating on the inner corner.
2) I applied Socialite, right, with a small Ecotools smudge brush as an outer V.
3) Then I applied some more color onto my Ecotools highlight brush and used that to blend it into my crease.
4) On my lower lash line I blended Socialite on the outer half and Mysterious on the inner half.

4)For a highlight I used my coastal scents 88 warm palette and I used a satin finish white which is the third column in from the left and the second row down.

6) I wanted to darken up the crease so I used the black I am pointing to in the 88 warm palette to give a bit more definition in the crease. I used the same Ecotools smudge brush for this look.

7) For liner, I used Wet n wild's creme eyeliner and the brush included to achieve a sexy winged out liner.

8) To finish off the eyes, I curled my lashes and added my CoverGirl Lash Blast Luxe in Black Platinum.

Lips:
Products Used:
EOS Lipbalm in Summer Fruit
Jordana Lipliner in Petal
Avon Glazewear Intense in Cherry Liqueur

1) I applied a lip balm all over my lips
2) Line my lips lightly with Petal and blended into the rest of my lip with my finger.
3) Topped it off with a light coat of Cherry Liqueur for a bite of red lips.

Day Five: Sunny Day

Heeee-llo!!!

Well today I just love the look I came up with. If you watched my "Huge ElF Haul!" video, you know that I got an ELF Elements Eye Shadow in Golden Glow. I had an appointment this morning and had to get up at 5:30 AM so I figured that eyeshadow would be PERFECT for a morning pick me up, and boy was I right! It was a super flattering color and I can't wait to get creative with it.
  • First, I put my NYX eyeshadow base in white, all over my lid as a primer.
  • Next, I placed Golden Glow all over my lid with my ELF Professional Eye Shadow Brush.
  • Then, I added a medium brown from the Coastal Scents 88 warm palette in the crease and blended it out with a clean blending brush.
  • I then placed a gold eyeshadow from the coastal scents 88 warm palette on the lower lash line and also added my favorite highlight (3rd down, 3rd in) on the inner corner.
  • Next some black eyeliner and Covergirl Lash Blast.
  • For lips I used Jordana Lipliner in Pink Petal and topped that with my classec Avon Glazewear Shine in Darling Pink. :-)
  • Face makeup as usual.

Day Four: Green Fiend

Hello Beautybeginners,
So yeah, I know I didn't post day four on day four, but I did take photographs. Oh and in case you were wondering day three was the tutorial before this post.
So I used ELF Mineral Eyeshadow in Earthy (wet) all over the lid, then I used a taupe color from the Coastal Scents 88 Warm Palette and then I used ELF Mineral Eyeshadow in Elegant as a highlight underneath my brow and in my inner corner.
For face makeup I used my ELF complexion perfection and a bit o' blush from my elf contouring blush and bronzer.

Here are some pictures:

E.L.F. Tutorial: Purple and Red

Hey Guys,

I recently uploaded a video on my channel but I forgot about adding pictures to the video. (Dum-Dum), LOL. It is a really bold, look and steps out of my comfort zone because of the red in my crease. So the palette I used for this look is to the left. It is the Luxe palette from E.L.F Brightening Eye Color, it came in a set so that's why the colors are square instead of triangles.

Swatches:
without flash with flash

Products used:
E.L.F Brightening Eye Color in Luxe $1.00
E.L.F. Brightening Eye Liner in Plum $1.00
Wet n Wild Mega Eyes Creme Eyeliner in Black $3.99
Covergirl LashBlast Mega Volume in Black $7.79
Avon Wash-Off Waterproof in Black $6.50
EOS Lipbalm in Summer Fruit $3.49
Lancome Color Fever Shine Lipstick in Natural Glimmers (I got it at Marshalls so i don't know)
Avon Glazewear Sparkle in Mocha Latte $6.00

I also mentioned that I have found some swatches using the 88 warm palette. The letter is the Colomn from left to right. The number is the row from top to bottom, so here they go:
Beige color- D5Purple Color-I6
Red Color-I3
Brown Color-F7Make sure to check out my youtube channel for a tutorial on this look. It is very easy simple and quick
Purple and red!

The Lips look a lot more brown in person.
